NEIL A. WATSON -A Community Builder.
A resident of Nanoose Bay since coming to the Island in 1987 as an RBC Commercial Banker, where after 18 years of banking a strong desire to stay on the Island created an opportunity for change in 1990. A highly successful transition to private wealth management lasted for 25 years then ensued into retirement in 2015.
During this nearly 4 decades a passion “to give back” to my community was always there. Through membership and active participation in service clubs, chambers of commerce, downtown business associations, resident’s associations and sports organizations a feeling for “leaving some place better than I found it” was always prevalent.
Donna, my wife, and I raised three daughters to be fine adults. When not working, volunteering or raising children we loved to explore the Island. Covid 19 lead us into the realm of waterfall spotting on the Island and huge memories. In retirement, we haven’t found a place we did not want to travel to.
